President Obama signed his landmark health care overhaul, the most expansive social legislation enacted in decades,  into law on Tuesday. Mr. Obama signed the measure, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, during a festive and at times raucous ceremony in the East Room of the White House. This can affect our country because, with this bill we can have a payable health care insurance.

Mr. Obama traveled to Ohio, to a recreation center in a region that is home to several swing Democrats, to begin a week of closing arguments that will impact a series of make-or-break House votes. Mr. Obama is using the power of his presidency to court lawmakers one by one. This can impact our country and affect it because people around the world have to come to an agreement and be able for the bill to be passed so that we can have good health payments.

President Obama challenged members of his party on Monday, not to give in to political fears about supporting health care legislation, the urgency of getting a bill through Congress should have any concern about the consequences for Democrats in November. This can affect our countrybecause with the consequences we might face, can affect the people here. We need to understand that President Obama wants best for the U.S. and we have to respect his opinion.

“The Senate Republican leader, Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, warned Democrats on Tuesday that Republicans would use the issue of health care to bludgeon them in the November midterm elections if Democrats succeeded in passing a comprehensive overhaul. His comments reflected growing Republican concern over President Obama’s resolve to secure passage of a comprehensive health care measure, which would be viewed as big Democratic achievement.” This can affect our country because with the disagreements the bill will never pass. We need to come up with an agreement to settle everyone’s opinions.
